I love to read and write poetry more than anything in the world. I have been writing poems ever since I could had the ability to write them. One of my favorite poets of all time happens to be the French poet Charles Baudelaire. He is an older poet but his poetry is amazing! My favorite poem of his happens to be "Her Hair" which is about himself and his African lover. The whole reason for me taking this Introduction to Poetry is to better my poetry writing skills and learn about other poets. So far I found that I really enjoy Emily Dickinson's poems.
