First thoughts and comments

Well I guess I should say this my first time blogging. So far what I have gotten from this class is a lot of outside of the box thinking. The techniques we use to access our "muse" is of definite interest to me. I find what works best for me is music (without lyrics) and visual aids. I have found that reading poetry has become less strenuous with the more that I read. I find it uplifting to be able to hear the "music" in the poetry. It gives me a sense of accomplishment and understanding. Not only to I feel better about reading and enjoying poetry I find with each muse write and extra writing in class I find my ideas flow much better. If I can come to a way of writing that I can call my own I feel that by the end of the semester I will have accomplished what this course plans on conveying.

Well thanks to those who read this and I will be seeing you all this Thursday

Muse 1: Recycle

Recycle
Red .
The color of my blood.
The blood that pumps through my veins and circulates throughout my body,
Of which enables the different pieces of me -
My ligaments
To stretch and attain exercise as I perform different tasks and errands that will only please him,
Which in return pleases me.
Red .
The color of an organ so vital.
No -
The original color of that organ.
STILL the color of what pumps,
Pumps blood into my heart.
The heart now a blue blob,
Abandoned and cold,
Thanks to him -
And the soulless entities before his reign.
Red .
The only color I see.
Sky - Red.
Guy – RED.
Mirror – Red.
The color that brews deep within my soul.
Yellow .
A color on a traffic light.
The color in the middle,
Between green and red.
Slow down -
It warns you.
Don’t act with too much haste.
That’s what got you here in the first place.
Yellow .
The color that radiates from a light bulb -
Only when lit.
Question marks arise.
Truth within the lies -
Clarity.
Green .
The color of my eyes when I saw her.
Not envious -
Of her at least.
Envious of the attention she was taking away from me.
Envious because affection shown by him -
No matter how proportioned held an immense value.
Green .
The first color on a traffic light.
It glares at you after Red rears its ugly head.
Go.
It is okay to proceed forward -
It’s permitting you.
Move on.
It’s okay.
Once driven passed,
A new road to drive on is open and waiting -
Ready to be explored -
The knowledge from turf I drove on before
Now my GPS.
Green .
SERENITY.
